Description

This painting was inspired by the resurrection of Jesus. Jesus is represented by the inverted triangle. The triangle is traditionally used to represent God the Father so I invert it to represent Jesus to show that Jesus is both divine and human. I have also included the side wound that symbolizes the shedding of his blood and water that came from his side. If you look at the shroud it is in the form of a hand that represents the hand of God the Father resurrecting him from the dead. You can also see the shape of a dove representing the Holy Spirit in the clouds on Jesus� left hand side. You can also see a lamb appear on the right hand side to represent Jesus as the new sacrificial Lamb of God.
