Description

This painting was inspired by the view of humanity as the people of God and from Da Vinci's Last Supper. The rounded globes here represent two things the apostles and humanity- the followers of Christ. The globes are not perfect spheres because humanity is not perfect. There is also a 13thoval globe in the left hand side that represents Mary Magdalene who would have been with Jesus and the apostles for Passover. Judas is represented by the pentagon. Jesus is represented by the inverted triangle. The triangle is traditionally used to represent God the Father so I invert it to represent Jesus to show that Jesus is both divine and human.
